Removal of Health Institutions from Health Insurance Board's Service Provider List - Government of Nepal

Government of Nepal, Health Insurance Board Notice Regarding Removal from List of Health Insurance Service Provider Health Institutions

Hospitals, as defined in Section 2 of the Health Insurance Act of 2074, entered into agreements with the Health Insurance Board on various dates in accordance with the provisions of Section 9 of the same Act, and their contract periods are still pending. However, after the budget statement of 2079/080, certain health institutions that suspended their services without proper notice, prior to the issuance of the budget statement by the Government of Nepal, have contracts in accordance with the Health Insurance Act.

Subsequent to the budget speech of 2079/080, the contract periods of the aforementioned hospitals have expired. Additionally, private health institutions whose health insurance services have not been renewed, or those unable to renew, along with health institutions that have not renewed their contracts for an extended period, will be removed from the list of service providers. Based on the decisions made during the meeting, the following hospitals have been removed from the list of service-provider health institutions under the Health Insurance Board. This notice has been published to inform all stakeholders.
